We went out of town to the next town for a few days and this spectacular bud bloomed in our absence. I am glad I did not miss it completely. While away, Finn lost the first of his many wiggly teeth. He and his pappy wrote the Tooth Fairy an email, it made me laugh so much I thought I would share it here. I should probably explain that I married into a very business oriented family, apparently it is hereditary!
I've heard that, sometimes, you give books to kids like me, but I'm not particularly fond of them. Candies are not an option either. Could you instead give me some money?
I would like you to deliver these funds on my night-stand, no later than tomorrow morning.

I can report that Finn got his wish, she paid up in full and and oddly enough left him the tooth to keep. Do you have special traditions with your children when they loose teeth? In France the "little mouse" comes to pick it up, 30 years ago she would most often leave you a 5 francs coin for it. If you haven't seen Ernest & Celestine yet, I highly recommend you do so, it's funny/adorable/captivating. It will explain why we don't need fairies to collect our teeth in France but that it not all it is about...
