First of all, wow! I had no idea a naked picture of Finn would get so much of you to comment! Thank you for the baby love everyone. I will keep in mind that you seem to enjoy the boy quite a bit, he is at day care right now so there will be no more of him today. Special hugs to Lisa who always leaves me such nice tidbits which I have not answered in a while! You can come borrow the Bernina anytime Lisa. Especially Wednesday since I have instituted it as "friends sewing day". Don't feel left out, I have failed miserably at answering comments lately because I am super busy actually making things for once, the girl is on a roll !
But to today's point:
Yes! my grandma scarf is done, after a whole year for her to wait. It's giant and looking back at the pattern I notice that everyone commented on the length. I should really start reading more attentively. All knitting has been ignored for so long that I didn't know for sure I was still capable of using needles. It comes back though and I even picked up a lace-ish shawl abandonned last year because of a lost spot and general dispair. It was difficult starting it again and I adopted the crossed-eye look trying to figure things out. After making a few random decisions it's back on track and I hope to be able to have something to show for it eventually.
Pattern: Cedar Leaf Shawlette on ravelry

The scarf is beautiful. What a perfect red too.

The most special projects for special people are the ones that take longer to become concluded... Are they going to like? are they going to use them? are the colours apropriate? Many questions to be answered during the process. Adorable result!
By the way, love your blog!

I'm a bit behind on my blog reading too and didn't notice this post at all. I seem to have missed quite a few all over the place this month. Thank you for the kind words and link! I feel very loved. I will see you soon for sewing!

Love the color and the scarf! I recently finished a cowl for my sister, she also waited about a year (I think a bit longer). :)
