I made Finn this backpack a few mornings ago. He seemed determined to use anything as one before. I think it's great that he want to carry his own things, way to take them off my hands!
This project was a completely green remake since I used the legs of a jean I cut off to make shorts. The size is perfect for a 2 to 4 year old. The contrasting fabric is Liberty of London. I had to use it eventually! still it hurt to cut into it...
The Sewing Republic wants to have it, I sent them the file today and will keep you inform when they post it.
Oh, so cute, anything in denim is just cuter somehow. Love it. Finn looks really happy to have it too. I think my friend Robyn bought the same Liberty for her little boy's quilt! What a great print.
