This afternoon Finn and I took a little road trip to Pictureline. Where I bought an infrared remote trigger for my Nikon. It's quite cheap and it lets you take picture (of yourself for example) remotely, about 8 ft in front of the camera is as far as it will go. I also go a tripod (not at all cheap, alas).
Back home I handed the remote to Finn and here are some of the pictures he took:
The light is terrible in my house, it limits my photography greatly. After checking out some lamps/continuous lighting at the store it looks like it's going to continue limiting it for a while, ouch!
Finn doesn't care, he's having a blast with the remote.
The point of that shopping trip was to equip myself enough to take good bloganistas shots but I am not sure I like the idea of always cutting my head off anyway... it's a little weird and I love make-up to much to waste it on a crop! That said I wasn't wearing any on the shots above, but of course the sight of them made me run to the "powder room" pronto! Because even at 4pm, there is still time, it will still make you feel much better (the concealer/mascara, anything you might need).

Sheesh, girl - you're beautiful without makeup. I wish I could say the same for myself. ;) Now, I just need to get my pre-baby body back, like you seem to have done. :)

I'm really diggin your outfit here. makeup or no. And Finn looks serious about that remote! boy does THAT start early.
I'd love to get a tripod! and that remote thingy. I'm loving being a part of bloganistas, it was the kick in the pants I needed. Can't wait to see you on there.
